I rarely give the top rating for any product or service, but in this instance it is merited. María has guided me through from beginner through to advanced Spanish with patience, encouragement, dedication and her wonderfully warm Valencian personality. I’ve been taking Spanish classes with María for over a year now and I think it speaks volumes that I continue to take classes with her through Skype even after she moved away from Valencia!

I highly recommend Maria for intermediate students looking to improve their conversational skills and tidy up their weak grammar. So far, we haven’t done anything much specifically aimed at vocabulary. I’ve had three tutoring/conversational sessions with Maria. She is always prompt and she is very good at keeping the conversation both interesting and informative. She gives written feedback during the session which helps to identify grammar weaknesses, but doesn’t interrupt the conversational flow much. For one of my particular weaknesses, por and para, she sent a worksheet with exercises. Motivated students like me can use the information to search out further exercises to fix problem spots quickly. She gives reading material each session which is quite interesting stuff. This provides good topics of conversation for the next meeting. To re-iterate: Highly Recommended
